OK. You win. Cows beat grain anyday. Back on topic: Science of the X-Men is supposed to have a spotlight on Nightcrawler, but I'm not spending $40 or however much it is on a rumor.

I read parts of that Science of the X-Men book, it was kinda cool. The guy is waay too into it though. He said Kurt would never be born because of his extreme physical mutations.

It's $20 or $25. The section on NC was okay. There were lots of other mutants in it too. He kinda broke it down into which powers were plausible and which weren't.

Why wouldn't he be born? The writer said he would be aborted because of the mutations. He cites kids that are born with tails and funky hands and feet are real and can survive but are sometimes retarded. He said it was all birth defects. He got quite into proving that NC would never have grown to adulthood and that since he did it proves that mutants are way different from regular people and possess some way of compensating for strange body forms.
